WOW! a whole year old!...

I cant believe a whole year has came and gone. It has definately been the quickest year of my life, the happiest year of my life, and the proudest year of my life. It's amazing to look back at all Trent has accomplished in just one short year. He is the absolute biggest blessing in both mine and Ryans lives. Everyday he brings so much joy to our lives. We couldnt be more proud to call him our son! Happy birthday to my sweet, fiesty, funny, and adorable baby boy!!!!! We love you more than you will ever know...
Here are a few of Trents latest accomplishments:

• Talks, and talks, and talks in his own language and its hilarious
• When you ask him "Trent wheres your belly?" He lifts up his shirt
• Sleeps in his own crib and ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! a whole 11 hours : )
• Is a nightmare to take anywhere, does not like to sit in carts or his stroller, I have to get a sitter just to go to the grocery store
• If he happens to sneak into the bathroom, he unravels the toilet paper across the room
• loves, loves, LOVES to be outside
• When he sees the vacuum or lawn mower he makes a bbbrrrrrrrr sound so cute
• Eats like a champ finally!
• Not crazy about his binky anymore, spits it out most of the time
• Has got a great golf swing : )
• Helps dad give the dogs their treats in the morning
• Loves story time and books, when he wants me to read him a book he will bring it to me, hold it up and says uh, uh, uh.
• Getting pretty good at turning the pages
• Points to where he wants you to take him
• ALL Boy, its amazing how he just knows how to be a boy!

Sorry there arent any pictures, but they will be coming soon! His birthday party was on sunday, the 29th and it turned out great! Today we took him to Disneyland which we were so excited for but it turned out to be a complete disaster! Thats a whole other story coming soon, along with lots of pictures!!!

Pebbles and Bam bam

Ever since Taisia and I found out she was having a girl and I was having a boy we've wanted to dress up as the Flintstones. Ryan and I would be Betty and Barney, Trent would be Bam Bam, and Taisia and Jeremy would be Fred and Wilma, and Teegan would be Pebbles. This year, Halloween fell on a Saturday so Ryan had to work. We were gonna wait until next year until we realized we would have too many, since Taisia and Jeremy will be expecting their second bundle in May! Anyway these two made to cutest Pebbles and Bam Bam ever! And my ever so talented sister whipped up these darling little costumes in no time!

11 Months

Only one more month till my baby is one! I cant believe it! He is growing up so fast and is not really my little baby anymore. : ( He wont let me hold him that often which makes me so sad. He is a busy busy boy, learning new things everyday. Here are a few of his latest tricks:

• Says doggy (first real word)
• says ball
• Climbs on everything
• Has a new bruise pretty much everyday
• Loves brooms
• loves to play ball
• loves to be outside
• Loves his doggies
• mows the lawn with Daddy with his toy lawn mower
• If you give him a phone he will hold it up to his ear
• If he gets the TV remote he points it at the TV
• Size 4 diapers
• Size 12-18 month clothes
• Favorite word is Dada
• Can sign the word more
• learned how to get off the couch and bed safely
• naps on the couch-Finally got him out of the swing
• Doesnt sleep in his crib at all anymore : (

Pumkin Patch

On Monday Ryan, Trent and I went to the pumpkin patch and we had a great time. Mondays are our only days off so they are our favorite day of the week. Trent also seems to love Mondays, he loves being with mommy and daddy at the same time. I just have to brag about my husband for a minute (sorry about the tangent), he works all night sunday night but instead of coming home and sleeping monday morning like most people would, he stays up all day to spend the day with Trent and I. He is a real stud, I know I could not do that! Anyways, it was a great day, Trent really enjoyed the pumpkins. He would not let us carry him, or ride in the stroller. He walked around the whole place trying to pick pumpkins up. It was so cute! I just love him! Here are some pictures of our fun day and our cute little pumpkin!

Happy Birthday Teegan!!!!

Today is my precious niece Teegans first birthday! I just love this little girl to pieces and so does Trent! Those two are really BFF's. When ever they see eachother they both start flailing their arms in excitement. They follow eachother everywhere, give eachother kisses, and even hold hands. Like any relationship though, they do have their fights. They steal each others binky's and sometimes eachothers toys, but they always make up. I'm so thankful that they have eachother and I know they will always be BFF's. Anyways HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my baby girl Teegan!! Auntie Loves you!!!!
How cute is this chick? Too cute I know!!! And her personality is just as cute as her looks! Not to mention she has the cutest clothes, shoes, headbands, and one really cool Aunt!

10 MONTHS!!

Well, I know I say every month that time is going by too fast, and Trent is getting too big, so I'll just gets right to the facts. Even though it is all still true. Anyway here's the stats:

• Weight 23 lbs
• Height 29 inches
• No new teeth this month, still at 8
• Can stand up on his own without pulling up on anything
• Is WALKING!!! Everywhere
• Loves to play in the hose
• Has weaned himself off the bottle
• No longer goes to bed by himself at night
• Still not sleeping through the night
• Loves being outside and playing in the dirt
• Growls like a dinosaur (we call it the pterodactyl)
• Gives kisses when you ask him to (sloppy open-mouthers, LOVE it)
• Climbing onto and into everything.
• Starting to enjoy food a lot more
• We think he has said Leila but not 100% sure
• Loves his golf clubs and his basketball
• Loves playing with his cuzzy cuz Teegan, although he is a bit of a bully sometimes
• His pesonality has really developed this past month and he is a funny boy
• Is 100% BOY through and through!!!

Happy 10 month birthday baby boy I love you so so so so so good!!!

Guess who is walking...

You guessed it!! My little man is walking. I cant believe it! It happened way too fast. Almost a week ago he learned how to stand up on his own. I just looked over at him and there he was standing in the middle of the room with nothing around to pull up on. I was shocked and the look on his face told me he was too. Then day by day he started taking more and more steps. He still crawls if he wants to get there faster but, you can tell he really loves his new trick!! It's too cute. Boy is he gonna be busy, let the fun begin!!!

Now I know I might be a little biased when I say this but seriously...Is he not the cutest thing you've ever seen? I cant take it sometimes, I just want to hug and kiss and squeeze him all day...And I DO!!!

Hi my name is Trent and I like to feed myself!

Feeding time around our house is always an adventure. Unless Trent absolutely loves the food you are feeding him (which is rare) he is constantly trying to grab the spoon,or his new favorite, blowing raspberries right after he takes a bite. It gets so tiring trying to fight a nine month old for the spoon so sometimes I just let him go for it! It does make for some cute/funny pictures!

9 months already!!

Here we are again! Another month older. I can't believe I have a nine month old baby, where does time go? Unfortunately our baby boy is sick on his nine month birthday : ( It just breaks my heart! I've never seen him like this before. He has the saddest little whine, and wants to be held all the time. For those of you who know Trent, know this is definately out of character for him. Usually he doesn't like to be held, he would much rather be on the floor exploring. I just feel so helpless seeing him so sad. The only thing I can do is give him Tylenol, cool wash clothes and give him as much love as possible. He is being really sweet though, he will actually lay his head on my shoulder, which I of course LOVE! I sure hope he gets better soon! Oh yeah- through all of this he is sleeping amazingly well! What a little trooper!
Other than being a little under the weather the past couple days, our little man is still growing up way too fast and learning new tricks all the time. Heres what he has been up to this past month:

• Has eight teeth- The eighth just popped up today
• Can stand on his own for a good length of time
• Goes to sleep on his own at night!!! YAY
• Loves to feed himself- boy is it a mess!
• Still takes two 2ish hour long naps
• Loves to climb up the stairs
• Stands on the first stair and shakes the baby gate
• Gets into the kitchen cabinets
• Has taken a step a couple times
• makes a new sound "nanana"
• Loves the dishwasher- I cant do dishes when he is awake, he crawls right over and tries to pull things out of the silverwear rack ie: knives, forks, anything that can hurt him. Remember I said TRIES
• Loves the dogs- he pulls their ears, lips, fur, anything he can get ahold of. They are so good with him though.
• Is developing a little stranger anxiety. When ever a stranger says hi to him he turns his face to me and puts his head on my shoulder.
• Loves loves loves blueberries, or as you can see from my last post, anything with blueberries in it.
• Loves to brush his teeth with my electric toothbrush- he has his own head
• Has no fear- he would go hear first of the couch or any edge if I let him.
• Is becoming more and more fun everyday!!!!

I just love this little boy to pieces! Being his mommy is the most amazing thing I have ever experienced! I feel so lucky, and proud to call him my son. He is the absolute light of my life!

I've never seen this kid like anything so much. He really is not a huge fan of food. I know you would never know it by his size, but it's true. Ryan and I joke about how excited we get when he actually eats. I guess we found something we can count on him eating. A blueberry smoothie made by uncle Jer!

Merry-Go-Round

Last weekend we went to the mall to do some shopping and we found this cute mini merry-go-round. The babies absolutely loved it! It was so cute seeing them so excited and now I can't wait to take them to Disneyland when they get a bit older. These two are just too much fun!!!!!

Happy Birthday!!

Today is my awesome hubby's 26th birthday!! It was the first time we got to spend an actual birthDAY together. He was either living in Philadelphia or working. He was supposed to work today but he actually took the day off. I was very surprised that he asked for the day off because he is such a hard worker that he hardly ever takes days off. We started off the day at a baby shower, then went to P.F. Changs for dinner (one of Ryans favorites). We sat out on the patio. The weather was perfect! Perfect temperature and no wind! We had a delicious dinner and awesome conversation.

Anyways the purpose of this post was to brag about my dear husband a little bit. My hubby is an awesome husband and an amazing father! He is so... helpful around the house. While he is home with Trent he does laundry, vacuums, grocery shops, washes windows, cleans toilets, and much more along with all the outdoor duties, car washes, and dog duties! He is such a good dad too! Trent just absolutely adores him! Lately he has beeen falling asleep on Ryans shoulder, which he does for no one else. It's so... cute. Anything he does cracks him up. I love watching them together, and it only gets better as Trent gets older. I cant wait for the day when Ryan teaches him how to play catch, dribble a basketball or swing a bat. Ryan is so selfless and gives up his weekends now so that when Trent is older and playing sports he can have weekends off to go to his games. But even if he ended up having to work, he would go without sleep before he missed one of his games. I am so proud of the father you have become and Trent and I love Love you to pieces!! Happy Birthday!!
