Love Trent

On actual Valentines day my honey was at work so I got to hang out with Tara since both our men were hard at work. We had a great day with our moms, and our boys. Taisia and Teegan stopped by for a little bit too. We took the kids to the park for a little bit and of course had to bring the cameras along to capture the kids in their festive outfits. Trent is so lucky to have two cousins already to grow up with and play with. Tighe will be catching up with these two in no time. Here are some cute pics of our cuties!

I know its not the best picture but you can imagine how hard it would be to get these 3 little ones to look at the camera at the same time. How cute are Trent and Tighe in their matching shirts. Were such dorks...I love it! And how huge does my child look?

These next ones we were trying to get pictures of Trent and Teegan kissing. They are always on a different page. Always opposites...haha

Happy Valentines Day

Hope everyone had an awesome day with their loved ones! Valentines day came early for me this year. On thursday when I came home from work, my mom was at my house so I was totally confused. Then Ryan told me to hurry and get ready and to wear something nice but he wouldnt tell me where we were going. Next my sister Tatum showed up to help me do my hair, at the request of my dear husband. He must always pay attention when I am getting ready with my sisters because I am always begging them to style my hair. I am definately the most helpless one of the family in that category. Anyway, after I was done getting ready he wanted to go out the front door but I insisted that we go out the garage so I could take a final look at myself in the skinny mirror. haha. I got half way out the garage when I noticed a white limo sitting in front of my house. I was completely shocked!! My mom and sister came out to snap a few pictuers of us before we left and then we were off. I got really nervous and felt like a little school girl on her first date, it was so funny. We ended up going to a realllly nice restaurant at the Mission Inn in Riverside. It was so beautiful. We had an awesome dinner and a great time just talking and having time with just the two of us!! All in all a great Valentines Day.... I have the best hubby in the WORLD. I love you babe!My sexy valentine

Poor dogs...

Let me start off by saying Trent loves his sissy's. He just has an interesting way of showing it. We can not leave these 3 in a room together for more than 5 seconds. This boy has figured out how to climb up on the couch (which is where the dogs used to be able to hide from him) just so he can climb all over these 2.The following pictures are a perfect example to his "love" for his girls Aww look how sweet he is standing there so nicely petting his Leila girl

Oh no, thats his not so sweet face. This face tells me that that hand is not just petting but rather pinching, or digging his thumb into her back (click on the picture to see it bigger)

I promise we are trying to teach him to be nice and love them gently, so far its just not sinking in. We'll get there eventually. Till then we just have to keep a close eye!

I love this face

14 months...

I was originally only going to do monthly updates for the first year but I realized there is so much you forget so fast, so I deided to do them maybe every other month from now on. This is for my own documentation so sorry if it bores you! Heres what Trent has been up to the past couple months:

• Weight: 25+ lbs.
• Height: 32ish inches
• Wears size 18-24 month clothes
• Wears size 5 shoes
• Has 16 teeth
• Is absolutely obsessed with being outside, if he wants to go outside he brings me his shoes and says "shoes"
• He takes us by the hand and just walks us around the house, where ever he feels like going
• Can go down the stairs...FAST!!
• Can open doors and is a little escape artist
• If I say "Trent, bring mommy a diaper" he will do just that. He is understanding so much these days!
• He says uh-oh to everything
• When he sees something he wants he points to it and says "this, this, this" as we frantically try to figure out what exactly "this" is
• If....excuse me when he bumps his head he just looks at us and rubs his head. Its so funny
• Sleeps through the night if you consider 5:00 am an appropriate time to wake up.
• Can climb in and out of the bathtub. We have to take the knobs off so he cant turn the water on.
• Loves, loves, loves going to the park and sliding down the slide on his belly.
• Can point out his nose, eyes (sometimes) and belly
• Holds out his feet when you put his socks or shoes on, and his legs when you put his pants on.
• No longer screams and cries when I take him out of the bath, and the entire time I try to get him dressed. He just lays there and lets me hold him and rock him to sleep. Its the sweetest thing EVER!!
• Naps usually twice a day. Sometimes 1. Both on the couch
• Love helping daddy in the backyard. His favorite is the edger
• Can walk backwards really good, and he loves to spin around in a circle
• Is a dancing fool. Anytime he hears music he stops what he is doing and bounces up and down and bobs his head
• When we discipline the dogs, he goes over to them waving his hand in the air yelling ba ba ba. Pretty sure he means bad bad bad
• He loves to help me with laundry, mopping and picking up his toys. He especially loves putting his blocks away, just so he can dump them out again.
• He is one silly boy and we sure do love him!!!!!
