I've never seen this kid like anything so much. He really is not a huge fan of food. I know you would never know it by his size, but it's true. Ryan and I joke about how excited we get when he actually eats. I guess we found something we can count on him eating. A blueberry smoothie made by uncle Jer!

Merry-Go-Round

Last weekend we went to the mall to do some shopping and we found this cute mini merry-go-round. The babies absolutely loved it! It was so cute seeing them so excited and now I can't wait to take them to Disneyland when they get a bit older. These two are just too much fun!!!!!

Proud mamas!

Can you say Jeremy!

Holding on like big kids.

Look at that face!! Oh to be a kid again.

Happy Birthday!!

Today is my awesome hubby's 26th birthday!! It was the first time we got to spend an actual birthDAY together. He was either living in Philadelphia or working. He was supposed to work today but he actually took the day off. I was very surprised that he asked for the day off because he is such a hard worker that he hardly ever takes days off. We started off the day at a baby shower, then went to P.F. Changs for dinner (one of Ryans favorites). We sat out on the patio. The weather was perfect! Perfect temperature and no wind! We had a delicious dinner and awesome conversation.

Anyways the purpose of this post was to brag about my dear husband a little bit. My hubby is an awesome husband and an amazing father! He is so... helpful around the house. While he is home with Trent he does laundry, vacuums, grocery shops, washes windows, cleans toilets, and much more along with all the outdoor duties, car washes, and dog duties! He is such a good dad too! Trent just absolutely adores him! Lately he has beeen falling asleep on Ryans shoulder, which he does for no one else. It's so... cute. Anything he does cracks him up. I love watching them together, and it only gets better as Trent gets older. I cant wait for the day when Ryan teaches him how to play catch, dribble a basketball or swing a bat. Ryan is so selfless and gives up his weekends now so that when Trent is older and playing sports he can have weekends off to go to his games. But even if he ended up having to work, he would go without sleep before he missed one of his games. I am so proud of the father you have become and Trent and I love Love you to pieces!! Happy Birthday!!

Here are couple pictures of my birthday boy and his little boy at the beach a couple weeks ago (I didn't take any today) : (

I have no idea what these white spots are?

Have you ever seen anything so cute? Don't know if you can tell but my boys have matching boardshorts!!

Bath time fun

We gave Trent a bath in the big tub tonight for the first time. I tried to put him in there before and he would try to put his face under so we decided to give it some more time. Tonight was the night and he loved it! The only problem is that he tries to stand up on the side. Here are a few photos and a video of him splashing like crazy

New toy

Since Trent loves standing and loves walking when you hold his hands I thought he would like a little pushwalker thing. So off we went to babies R us to find just that. There lots of different ones but we chose the dump truck. Nice and manly! I was so excited to get home and put it together so he could give it a try. So I took all the parts out of the box and began to assemble it. But little did I know the box would be his favorite part. I mean look at this thing. It looks fun right?

But instead he would rather play with the box. At least he is cute doing it!

Eventually he got the hang of it. And he loves IT!

8 months old!

Once again another month has flown by! I cant believe our little man is only 4 months away from being 1 year old! I can still remember putting all of his clothes in his closet before he was born and thinking it would be forever until he fit into 6 month size clothes. Boy did that come fast (especially cuz he was in 6 months at 3 months) but now here we are at 8 months. Its so amazing to watch him go from that little newborn baby that just slept and ate to this little boy who is developing into a little person in just 8 short months. Here is what our little person has been up to this past month:

Weight: 22 and something

Height: 28 or so inches

Has 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on bottom)

Walks with his pushwalker

Takes two 2-21/2 hour naps

Eats lots of fruits and veggies but has also had chicken, beans, yogurt and egg yolks.

Waves Hi and Bye

Gives High fives

Not a great sleeper at night

Loves to get in the mix when the dogs are play fighting(a little scary sometimes)

Loves anything he isnt supposed to have ie: cords, remotes, cell phones, cameras...

Likes playing with door stoppers

Sneaks into the bathroom if we leave the door open and unrolls the toilet paper

Stands up on everything

Goes to bed between 9 and 10 and wakes up between 6 and 7:30 (waking ? times in between)

Loves to be in the kitchen when mom is cooking

Loves the outdoors

Not a snuggler : (

Becoming very difficult with diaper changes. Will NOT sit (or lay rather) still.

Loves riding in carts and tries to grab clothes and things as we walk by

Loves his back tickeled (only time he'll lay there for more than two seconds)

Loves balls of all kinds

Is so so so much fun we love him soooooo.... very much!!!
